I cannot sync windows live contacts and calendar with my mobile phone.
I have 2 different mobile phones (mogul and Iphone) and cannot sync/download my contacts and calendar via windows live. I have contacted the cell phone carriers and MSN. All attempts were futile. HELP!!!

- You cannot sync your calendar but you can sync your contacts.
You will need to install Windows Live on your device.

- Hello. This is not an easy thing to accomplish, e.g. syncing Live contacts AND calendar to mobile devices. Live contacts are easy with the Mobile Live client you can install on the Mogul.

But calendar, you will have to bridge with either syncing Live calendar to Google calendar or Outlook calendar (Outlook-Live connector), and then syncing to your phones. Google has Windows Mobile and iPhone sync clients. To sync Outlook you would use Activesync/WMDC for Windows Mobile and iTunes for iPhone.- Marked As Answer byWMTA1OwnerThursday, November 05, 2009 9:36 PM

I tried to sync my iphone with outlook 2003 on my laptop, but it would not sync. I receive no error messages. It says sync complete, but when I look at the contacts and calendar on my phone they are not there. I tried ATT, Apple, and MSN and one knows the problem.
- For 2 years I used windows live on my mogul (pda smartphone), but then Sep09 it no longer allowed me to sync my calendar and contacts. Sprint and MSN do not have the answer.
- How do you bridge windows live calendar. I can access and see my calendar via calendar.live.com but they will not show on my mobile phone. I have been using windows live on my phone for 2 years accessing email, contacts, and calendar. But recently, all of this stopped. Sprint and MSN cannot tell me why. Both tried walking me through things to help, but realized they could not and start point the finger at each other.

Are you sure you were syncing the Live calendar? I have the Live Mobile client sync on my WM6 phone and I can only sync the Live contacts. What software were you using? It must have been a beta and they pulled the support from it.How do you bridge windows live calendar. I can access and see my calendar via calendar.live.com but they will not show on my mobile phone. Since you have Outlook, the easiest way is to install this Live Outlook connector. You should be able to sync your Live calendar to Outlook and from there, sync the Outlook to your Mogul. Again, you will need to create a partnership between your PC and Mogul with Activesync 4.5 or WMDC (see links above). Your iPhone should be able to sync the same info from Outlook using the iTunes interface.
http://nysicsclubhouse.wordpress.com/2009/08/13/sync-windows-live-calendar-with-windows-mobile-iphone-etc/I agree that you can access the Live email and contacts via your web browser with an internet connection. But the Mobile Live client has never been able to sync the calendar info to your phone, only the contacts.
As you have found out, it is not easy to do. I have found out that you get alot of entry duplication so I just manage everything from Outlook.
