Mail on device doesn't sync with Outlook
Mail is handled completely separately on my HTC TouchPro and Outlook. I'll receive messages on both, but they have to be deleted separately from the device and Outlook. There is no synchonization once the messages are received. Help ... this is very frustrating.

- If you are using POP3 email accounts that you've created, the mail in those accounts will never sync with your computer. The way to sync email between your computer and windows mobile device is to select the Email data type in ActiveSync or WMDC and to not program POP3 email accounts on your device.
If you select the Email data type on your device to sync your incoming and outgoing email between your computer and windows mobile device, email will be handled in a batch process. The only way to get incoming email on your device is by syncing it from your computer and the only way to send email is through your computer. You can reply to or create new email messages on your windows mobile device, but all that email will be saved in the Outbox until you sync to your computer. Then the outbox items will be synced to your computer and sent from there.
If you want to download and send email directly from your windows mobile device, you'll set up POP3 messaging accounts on the device. Email that is downloaded to your device will still be retained on the mail server, so when you turn on your computer, the email will also be downloaded to your computer. Email that you create and send from your mobile device will never be synced to your computer.
I prefer to manage mail directly from my windows mobile device, so I always bcc myself on any sent email. Then this email will be downloaded to my computer later on and I'll have a complete history of email stored on my computer.
