QuestionSome parts of Mobile Facebook app do not work...

This is MS Facebook version 1.007, running on my HTC TYTN II WM 6.1 device. This is a fresh install, I never had any older versions of Facebook on this device.

Home tab > Photos shows "Fetching..." and nothing else.

Person tab > Wall also shows just "fetching..." and never shows the wall.

Mail tab > Inbox likewise shows "fetching..."

All other tab items seem to work, on both my Wifi and my Edge connection

Bug, or do I need to do something with my setup?

Thanks for reporting your issues mtjim and shinma6980. On my Samsung Blackjack II Windows Mobile 6.1 device running Facebook version 1.007 I am able to see Photos and am not able to replicate your other fetching issues. Shinma6980 - can you share more information about your device?

    Hi mtjim and shinma6980!

Just checking back with you to find out if you are still experiencing your issue.  Since we have not seen a response since Mary Alice asked some further questions, we hope that means that you have resolved your issue.  If this is not the case, please let us know the current status so that we may continue to provide suggestions and recommendations as required.

I am also experiencing this issue with my HTC Touch Pro2.  Most of the program works, but when I go into the messaging tab, it just keeps saying "Fetching..."  I have version 1.007, Windows Mobile 6.1 Pro and am running on a CDMA network.  It's great to have a program for using Facebook on my phone without using the mobile site, but messaging is kind of important, so I'm not able to use the program much.

    Thanks

I have a T-Mobile Dash 3G running WinMo 6.1 and MS Facebook v1.007.  Fresh install of Facebook app.

Home tab "News Feed" and "Photos" both show a brief refresh icon and then "Fetching..." - it never finishes fetching

Profile tab "photos" shows fetching and never finishes

Mail tab "Inbox" shows fetching and never finishes.

    T-Mobile service on 3G

Thanks for reporting your issues too Jared and Sean. I just used and refreshed again on my Samsung Blackjack II Windows Mobile 6.1 device running Facebook version 1.007 I am able to see News Feed, Photos, Profile and Mail and am not able to replicate any of your fetching issues but I have alerted the team to see if anyone can replicate the issues. To make sure we're covering all the bases, I wonder if there might be particular hardware or software or network issues? Mtjim and Shinma - do you also have T-Mobile service on 3G or another service provider?

The team just reported to me that they were able to replicate your issues and they described to me that they've identified 2 potential causes:

    1) you see "fetching" if there is no data in that area
    or
    2) you see "fetching"if you had an older version of the software that did not get correctly removed by physically deleting the right .vol files prior to reinstalling the application.

Let us know if either of these potential causes seems to apply to you and whether you need more tips for physically deleting the old .vol files if that applies to you.

Thank you for getting back to me, MaryAliceC.

I tried uninstalling the program and then deleting Facebook.vol and fbmail.vol before reinstalling it.  Unfortunately this didn't solve the problem.  I am also certain that there are several messages in my Facebook inbox.

    Thanks again,

    Jared

I have AT&T and an HTC Fuze. This is a brand new install of the Facebook 1.007 application and I also have the above issues where I see "fetching" for my profile and am unable to browse pictures. However, the Home tab seems to work fine.

Just bought the HTC Imagio through verizon, Download the facebook application onto windows mobile 6.5.  Having a similar problem everything works fine except the photos tab.  It says "fetching" and never changes.  Just thought I would let you know I am having some similar issues.
