WMDC fails to recognise that my Palm Treo Pro is connected via USB.
WMDC fails to recognise that my Palm Treo Pro is connected via USB.
- It seems that it doesn't recognise my phone but rather calls it a Ricoh Stick device. Whenever I open WMDC it says not connected. My phone on the other hand recognises my computer. I'm running Vista. Please help :)

I did resolve this once by installing active sync on a xp pc and then vista recognised my treo pro for a while but now its gone again (vista doesnt even see the pro in computer-when i connect the lead i hear the tone - ive tried more than one lead-i cant even blue tooth to vista) i do still manage to sync with xp though. ive tried putting the pro into pc setup and this is the only time vista sees the pro i get a pop up box giving me the setup files-not the contents of the phone. ive also tried wmdc 6.1 and 6.0
