Login problem on WordPress self-hosted blogI am trying to get Windows Live Writer working for my blog, but for some reason it cannot log in; it gives me a login/password error. Same for Qumana and w.bloggar, so it is most likely not an issue in Live Writer, but I hope I would be able to get some feedback anyway.

The same login/password combination works fine when I log in through the web interface. If I add a new account, I can log in perfectly well using Live Writer -- but I would really like to use my existing account. Any ideas what could cause this behaviour and what I could do about it?

Thanks,
Michael© 2009 Microsoft Corporation. If I use a simple password there is no problem, but if I use a 'strong' password (eight characters, mix of lowercase, uppercase, numbers, and special characters) I cannot use an external writer t log in.

Obviously, I would prefer to be able to use a strong password. Is this in any way possible?

Thanks,
MichaelFri, 24 Apr 2009 02:38:28 Z2009-04-24T02:38:28Zhttp://social.microsoft.com/Forums/en-US/writerbeta/thread/191a58aa-d60a-4dfa-9192-e22184fd52dd#c2b15c59-6965-4112-9b4d-1cde1a2a831ehttp://social.microsoft.com/Forums/en-US/writerbeta/thread/191a58aa-d60a-4dfa-9192-e22184fd52dd#c2b15c59-6965-4112-9b4d-1cde1a2a831eBrandon Turner [MSFT]http://social.microsoft.com/Profile/en-US/?user=Brandon%20Turner%20%5bMSFT%5dLogin problem on WordPress self-hosted blogMight be best to file a bug with Wordpress.
http://codex.wordpress.org/Submitting_Bugs

-Brandon Turner [MSFT]Sun, 26 Apr 2009 19:58:48 Z2009-04-26T19:58:48Zhttp://social.microsoft.com/Forums/en-US/writerbeta/thread/191a58aa-d60a-4dfa-9192-e22184fd52dd#7dab77be-44b7-4649-b9d1-381c502e6a50http://social.microsoft.com/Forums/en-US/writerbeta/thread/191a58aa-d60a-4dfa-9192-e22184fd52dd#7dab77be-44b7-4649-b9d1-381c502e6a50Michael Keizerhttp://social.microsoft.com/Profile/en-US/?user=Michael%20KeizerLogin problem on WordPress self-hosted blogThanks, Brandon.
