    Hi,

I have a wordpress.com blog and I'm using a theme called Freshy by Jide. WLW can't detect the theme settings.  Is there anything I can do to fix this or is it just incompatible with the theme?

I have a static homepage, so I changed this to latest posts but that didn't help.

    Thanks!

There is not much you can do to work around the issue in Windows Live Writer.

If you know HTML and don't mind spending some time to get your theme working, I can explain how to manually create a theme for Windows Live Writer.

    If you navigate to:
    C:\Users\<username>\AppData\Roaming\Windows Live Writer\blogtemplates\<blog id>

Do you see 2 html files in there, or is there nothing?

and I do have 2 html files there wordpress[2]html and wordpres[3].html.
The former contains {post title} and the latter contains the posts.

    Waiting in suspense ;-)
