Advise on MCTS Exam 70-433: SQL Server 2008, Database DevelopmentDear Friends

I am very new to Microsoft certifications, so your advises helps me great, Thanks in advance..

I am desigining and developing databases for past 5 years, but never bothered to write exams. I have experience with access, sql server 2000,2005 and 2008. Part of my job also includes writing server side code[SP], few DBA duties.

After doing bit of reseach about microsoft exams, I understand Microsoft Certified Master (MCM) of SQL server is the highest certificate you can get. Am not interested about Microsoft Certified Architect (MCA) at the moment.

Pre Requesties: MCITP: Database Developer, MCITP: Database Administrator, MCTS: Database Developer, MCTS: Database Administrator

So to start up the path i wanted to take MCTS Exam 70-433: SQL Server 2008, Database Development. Preperation material for this exam includes "Classroom tarining/ E courses and Books". At the moment I cant effort any class/online training, except reading MCTS Self-Paced Training Kit book and practise skills they measure in exam. Just wondering is it really a must to go thorugh with training to be sucess in the exam? How you people noramaly approach such situataion?

I also came across thirdparty training material such as TestKing, etc offering guranteed sucess. Is it worth buying them?

Aslo can you please give me a resources explaining the actual exam format or demo or any further reference or study materials..

Thanks for your time and help

Dushi

© 2009 Microsoft Corporation.
