Ok, i know this aint really a question but im taking exam 83-640 (Server 2008 AD configuring) and im doing this next to my normal school. So besides an internship i had for 6 months i have no experience working with it on a day to day basis.

And im beginning to doubt if i even stand a chance to pass it...I cant find anywhere what to expect of the simulation part since its under the non-disclosure agreement. I had no real worries passing 70-640 because i could just learn the book and practice on my VM's at home. But with 83-640 I dont know about that. I've practiced a lot with VM's and I can do stuff like create AD objects, make GPO's, make GPSI, and im working on trusts/sites so i hope that is the stuff they want... But if they ask me to configure a complete AD CS configuration...i dont have the experience for that.

Bottomline...i need some encouragement...and info on what to expect (not details on what was asked but more how advanced the things are they ask, is it basic stuff like DNS and creating users or is it more advanced like implementing AD CS, AD RMS or AD FS?)

I'm doing MCTS: Network Infrastructure hopefully before august. Then in august Im doing the IT Pro: Server Administrator.
I intend to pass both before school starts in september...

Two more questions though, hope u know something about this :)

When i did this exam (83-640) and send my answers after the test was done the application of prometric crashed. They tried fixing it their but they couldnt.
The guy administering the exam called prometric and they said they had my answers but they couldnt see if i passed yet. Id get it in an email.

Now I asked if I would get my passing score and how I did on the different subjects and they said yes, but i didnt.
I only got 2 emails from MCP with congrats and welcome to MCP program (since it was my first). Thats why I know i passed.

Will I get the email with my score and such later? or how does this work?

And secondly..do i get an official certificate on paper? and some persons at my last job also got some sort of pass (like a bank card) from microsoft for their certificate.
Do i need to apply somewhere to get that or how does that work?

Hope someone can help :)

First try to contact your testing center if their server is fixed. If yes, they should be able to reprint the score report. If they are unable to do so, contact Prometric directly. This has nothing to do with Microsoft. Prometric already notified Microsoft that you passed so you received those email from Microsoft, so only people can give you the score report now would be Prometric.

Answering your second question, you will no longer receive Paper Certificate & Card for free. Going forward, you have to pay shipping and handling. Check my following two Blog posts for detail process:
