Live Mesh was installed and working on my computer, then about two weeks ago it stopped syncing files. It wasn't showing any errors though. Files were simply no longer synchronized even though everything looked like it was working.

At the suggestion of tech support I uninstalled Live Mesh and tried re-installing. I now get this 80004002 error when I attempt to reinstall. Despite the directions on "How to Submit Bugs and Live Mesh Logs" no Servicing.log or Servicing[0000].log is generated. Tech support has not been very helpful and I'm really hurting to have Mesh working again.Tue, 14 Jul 2009 15:12:18 Z2009-07-14T15:12:18Zhttp://social.microsoft.com/Forums/en/LiveMesh/thread/053d4cd1-ddf9-4edb-be23-b606b01b25d5#3281894b-da0c-4e3b-9f36-7f32527f5022http://social.microsoft.com/Forums/en/LiveMesh/thread/053d4cd1-ddf9-4edb-be23-b606b01b25d5#3281894b-da0c-4e3b-9f36-7f32527f5022Stephen Bootshttp://social.microsoft.com/Profile/en-US/?user=Stephen%20BootsError while reinstalling Live mesh : Installer Encountered errorsDid you try the solution in my previous post - enabling Hardware Virtualization in the BIOS?
-steve
Microsoft MVP Windows Live / Windows Live OneCare, Live Mesh, & MS Security Essentials Forums ModeratorTue, 14 Jul 2009 17:09:45 Z2009-07-14T17:09:45Zhttp://social.microsoft.com/Forums/en/LiveMesh/thread/053d4cd1-ddf9-4edb-be23-b606b01b25d5#d37bc7b4-30ce-46d0-98ba-c8d727065e5ehttp://social.microsoft.com/Forums/en/LiveMesh/thread/053d4cd1-ddf9-4edb-be23-b606b01b25d5#d37bc7b4-30ce-46d0-98ba-c8d727065e5eCapro22340http://social.microsoft.com/Profile/en-US/?user=Capro22340Error while reinstalling Live mesh : Installer Encountered errorsMy BIOS does not appear to have a setting for enabling/disabling virtualization. I'm told that the primary reason for this error is that you don't have the latest version of the Windows Update component. So, try going to Windows Update and make sure that all important/critical updates are installed.
