    Hi Guys,

I am a new user of live mesh. I have already installed the software and ActiveX in IE.

The live desktop and synchronization are ok. But when I want to use live mesh remote desktop, it does not work. The remote  device is Online, but just can not be connected. It says "live mesh remote desktop is not available ".

Is anyone here can help me on this?

    Many thanks!

    Ronan

When you instal on XP the Live Mesh desktop enhancements are installed automatically.
On Vista and Windows 7 the notifier should display a message to install them upon completion of the Live Mesh main installation.
On the Vista machine, did you install while logged in with administrator rights?

Where is the remote PC? What OS on the remote PC? Were the desktop enhancements for Live Mesh installed on the remote PC? Any firewall other that the Windows firewall at either end? Are you trying to connect from the browser or did you also try to connect from the client?

    Thanks for your quick reply,Stephen.

My PC is with XP system and Remote one is with Vista system. All firewall has been turned off . Yes, i am trying to conect from the browser on my PC.

For desktop enhancements, I am not quite sure about this. What is it, is it software or something like that? And where can I find it and how to install?

    Thanks !
