AnswerAdHoc workflow for All Records

I'm trying to find a way to run a workflow against all records within a selection criteria and not have to run the workflow for each page (with the 250 record limit) in the result set.  I found a link to the CRM blog that provides an Import tool, but the readme instructions aren't very clear.  So if anyone has experience installing and using this tool, or knows in general how to run the workflow accross all records, I would greatly appreciate the help

Not sure what import tool you are referring to but if you want to run an on-demand workflow the only mechanism is to select the maximum record set (ie 250) within your advanced find view, select all the records on the page and then run the appropriate workflow .  If there will be some change on the record, you could trigger the workflow automatically based on a status, assignment or attribute change.
