Workflow: can't send email through the CRM
I've set up my first workflow -- I enter leads with an appointment time in the body of the lead. My workflow is supposed to email my field reps (the owners of the leads) when they have a new appointment. Using the dynamic content (which is way cool) I send them the date, time, and other lead info so they can print it off and take it to the GPS units in their trucks.
My workflow looks like it should work and I have it set up to run on demand. When I run it on my leads, it says it is successful...but email never gets sent. The system messages says it is successful but no email ever gets to my guys.
I am now testing with myself as the owner and the sender. I'm an admin and my ingoing and outgoing email settings use the Outlook CRM settings. I've used my partner's computer to check and he can send email through Dynamics using the same settings for his account that I have on mine.
I use Outlook and Office Live.
Anybody have any ideas?

The workflow is working but the mechanism to send the e-mail is not.
Since you are using the CRM Outlook client, did you check the options settings to ensure you set "Allow Microsoft Dynamics CRM to send e-mail using CRM for Outlook"

Some things to check...
- If your workflow is configured correctly you would see e-mail in your activities from my workplace. The e-mail would denote that it wasn't sent in the details.
- Do you have the CRM Online Outlook client installed and configured?
- In the CRM Online Outlook configuration do you have send e-mail from Outlook enabled?
Outlook -> CRM -> Options -> E-mail tab (check releveant boxes for e-mail)- Ok -
I ran a test yesterday and sent contact information via email to myself. I got them at 9.15 this morning. Still no emails from my workflow.
I checked the Activity page in My Workplace and saw all the test emails I sent...but nothing in my email box.
Weird. The workflow is working but the mechanism to send the e-mail is not.

1. Have the "Allow Microsoft Dynamics..." box checked. No luck yet.
2. Have the emails showing up in My Work -> Activities
3. Do not have anything showing up in my Sent Email folder.
What am I missing? Anything on the Additional Fields tab in the Workflow page?
