I'm an MCP of 2003 - I took 5 exams of MCSE 2000, I had 2 more to go for MCSE 2000 - I now want to take MCSE 2008 - Can you please guide me on a plan on how to get to MCSE 2008? - Should I start from scratch or should I complete MCSE 2000? or what should I do?
The exams I passed are: 210-215-216-217-227

The second part of your question as to the direction of your future studies depends on the knowledge and experience you have with either a Windows Server 2003 networking environment or a Windows Server 2008 environment. Obvisously you want to test in the environment you have the most proficiency in.
I would start by reviewing both MCSE 2003 and MCITP: Server Administration requirements on the Microsoft Learning site. There you can narrow down the objectives for each exam required of the two certification and determine which category fits your proficiency best at this time. Companies are running both Windows Server 2003 and Server 2008; so which ever you chose will not be wasted.
