    Hi,

    I have passed MCTS in SQL Server 2005(70-431).
    I want to what are the other certifications available related to 70-431.

    I can see four others 70-441, 70-442, 70-443, 70-444. I think I should be able to clear 70-443 exam if I give study time for it. But I am not sure what credential I will gain if I clear 70-443? Do I gain MCITP DBA or does it require to clear 70-444 as well?

    Exam 70-431 gives you SQL Server 2005 MCTS which you can use to get MCITP DBA with two other exams, or MCITP Database Dev with two other exams or if you are an existing MCDBA you can use it with exam 70-447 to upgrade to MCITP DBA for SQL Server 2005.  Check the links below for details about MCITP DBA and MCITP Dev for SQL Server 2005.  So yep you need exam 70-443 and 70-444 to get MCITP DBA with exam 70-431.

     Hi Caddre,

    As I understand, I won't get any credentials for passing ONLY 70-443.  I need to pass 70-443 and 70-444 and get MCITP DBA. (I have already passed 70-431)

    I am planning to take 70-443 first.  Is there any time restriction between passing 70-443 and 70-444?

    Should these two exams be passed within a time limit?
    Should there be some interval b/w these two exams?

    That's correct.  Only 70-443 (or only 70-443 with 70-431) doesn't give you another certification.  You also need to pass 70-444.

    There isn't any time restriiction between passing the two.  You are free to concentrate on passing one, and when you're done with that one, concentrate on the next one.
