I am experiencing problems syncing files from my mobile. I have my phone's "My Pictures" folder in my mesh as "Mobile Pictures" and have taken two pictures on my phone. The files have appeared in the news on my desktop PC as "added" but only the placeholder files are there. I have tried to force a manual sync several times from my mobile but it seems to get stuck on "preparing to sync...1/2". Am I doing something wrong or is this a bug?

    Hey Stephen,

Like cplush said the size of the files and the network you are on will effect the sync time for files from your phone.  If it doesn't seem to be completing after a while though, then definately yes please send us the logs from your mobile device so we can see what's going on.

When you submit your bug to help us find the problem quicker let us know the name of the file you are trying to sync too.

how long is it hanging? I know that some pictures cant take awhile to sync uf you are on 2g network. Also depends on the size of the picture. You probably want to let it sit for awhile and see if it can work out, if not try a reinstall or collect your logs and send them in per instructions on front page.

I'm on a 3G network and the files are only a couple of hundred KB, so it seems a bit strange. I shall submit a bug report with the logs as suggested.

Filing a bug report per the instruction in my post above your would be the best thing to do so that the Live Mesh team can try to determine the cause of the issue.
