martes, 28 de abril de 2009 13:15I have not found much information elsewhere but found this article: http://blog.tiensivu.com/aaron/archives/1865-Demystifying-the-Office-Communicator-2007-R2-Client-Auto-Update-feature-and-how-to-setup-it-up.html that gives a very good explanation of how to set this up. I was wondering about the need to setup the additional SPN and if Microsoft has any instructions here.
Also, is it possible to update the Live Meeting console through this method. Aron did not seem to think so but the client version filter form shows what appears to be the LiveMeeting client. Is it possible to use the Allow and Upgrade with it as well and if so how would that be configured?
Thank you in advance.

Thanks to that blog I figured it out how to do this
SPN is used for Kerberos Authentication issues when you connect to a host with a different name (pool and FQDN are not the same in EE)
