    Hello all!

     

    Is the OCS Edge Server supported to be installed on the same machine as ISA?

    Which ports do I have to open on ISA in order to be able to chat, video conferencing and desktop sharing?

      Unfortunately no - the edge server and its services must be installed on a standalone server in a workgroup (not joined to any domain). The port requirements can be found on pg. 20 (and on) of the Edge Deployment Guide it explains what ports are required for each role and their flow needs. On page 19 there is a nice diagram depicting the requirements too.

        What appens if a cosolidated edge server is a member server ?
