    Will ISA 2006 be a firm requirement for OCS 2007 assuming one wants to deploy Audio/Video Conferencing and Remote User scenario's?

     

    If not then the is the assumption is that any firewall will work with OCS 2007?

      No, ISA is not a requirement, it's just the only method that Microsoft documents.  Any decent NAT firewall should work.
