Imac, Word and WHS 2011

Unanswered Imac, Word and WHS 2011

    I'm guessing there will not be a very large group using the Imac, MS Word en WHS2011 together but i'm gonna try anyway. My problem is that if i make a Word document on a Imac and save it directly to a folder on the WHS 2011 server it gets corrupted and cannot be opened by MS Word anymore. If i save it on the Imac and after saving move it to the WHS 2011 server it's not corrupted.

    Can anybody explain to me why that's happening?

    Hi Constant, rather than WHS2011, I consider the issue can be caused by other factors. Does the issue only occur on Imac? What about other PC clients?

    Sean,

    I have 1 iMac and about 6 windows 7 PC's and never had this problem on any of the other PC's. I also didn't have this on the iMac with the old home server. It has to be something in the combination Word for Mac and WHS.

    It happens every time i save directly and not if i save on the Imac and then copy...
