I've got a HP EX470 with 4x500gb drives which is great so far.... BUT!!! I can't seem to get Word, Explorer or anything else for that matter to see the HomeServer to write files to from within the specified program. Ok I can drag and drop files from Explorer via searching through Network Neighbourhood but thart seems nuts. In fact I had to go into the HS and change the default WORKGROUP name to match my home WORKGROUP so that I could browse to the shares.
I just felt that once you installed the HOME PC CONNECTOR then it "might" just update the My Documents, My Photos, My Videos etc etc to the shares on the Home Server.
Please tell me I'm missing something???
Regards

You could always map a drive to the share you wanted and that way you can save directly to that drive letter.

Hi!
The Connector Software also places a shortcut called "Shared Folders on Server" on the desktop of every computer it is being installed to. You simply have to click on this shortcut when saving files from Word/Excel/etc.
