Hotmail folders missing when I goto Tools/Manager Folders
- Hi,
I use my hotmail account with Windows Mobile but when I goto Tools / Manage Folder none of my folder are listed apart from the standard
Deleted items
Drafts
Inbox
Outbox
Sent Items
Does anyone know what is causing this as I have removed and re-added the account with no change.

- Hi,
The only way I could resolve this was to do a Hard Reset on the OMNIA. All ok now.

- You have WIndows Live installed on your device right?

You are not seeing the folders that YOU created, right?

http://www.mobilitysite.com - yes the folders were created on the PC using the web browser / hotmail access.
Lee - Hmmm ... not quite sure what is happening. I created one yesterday and one today. It worked fine.
OK, so they are not appearing using Live on your device but if you access www.hotmail.com using PIE from your device, I assume the folders you created show .... yes?

when I first got the phone they did appear. But thinking about it when I added the account a second time after a firmware upgrade then this is when I had this symptom.
The upgrade was from the samsumg website

You are using the correct Hotmail account login (in other words, you are not accessing a different account by mistake)? Consider logging out of Live, soft reset then log back on and see if that works.
If that does not work, I think if it were my device I would consider backing it up and performing a hard reset. Setup a new partnership, sync and then setup Live on the device before anything was installed. Clearly it worked before. You indicated that you can see the folders if you access Hotmail from your devices browser so I am guessing there is something that got wacked and a fresh start may well be the fastest way to resolution IMHO.

Did you add a NEW account? or do you mean that you just entered your credentials for the previous account?
I'm wondering if you have a second account setup that is just slightly different than the original and you are overlooking it. If you can see it on the web via your PC, try logging out on your device, soft reset then login again double checking the login details.

- Sometimes the ole Hard Reset is the fastest solution. Good to hear all is well ... thanks for the update Lee
