Thanks for the reply... I do have all of that in place... I am just working on understanding all of the other counters... those that are selected will be fed into MRTG to provide a graphical (and historical) representation of usage stats.

Is there any way the save the configuration once you change the counters to the ones you want to use? Also, can you save data monitored to a file so you can view it over time?

You can use the Counter Logs (Computer Management > Performance Logs and Alerts > Counter Logs) and record to .csv

We have a centralized MRTG server that reads the data and displays a line graph (Daily/Weekly/Monthly/Yearly)... this is how we are able to review the historical data and plan for capacity
