- How to set up notifications? For example, the manager just made a call on the Head Quarters and he wants the account team to go in and review this. Can we automate notifications when team users logged into system? like java script or through any work flows or dialog.

Notifications in CRM are generally done through emails / tasks. If the users have CRM Outlook add-ins installed, these tasks will be synchronized to the users' Outlook as well.
In your scenario, you could create a custom attribute on the entity to flag whether that entity need to be reviewed or not. To create the notification itself, you can create custom workflows that will get triggered when the "custom flag" is set to true.

you can develop OOB workflow based on your phone call and can send notification to realted team.
