In the past I've been able to install SharePoint Services 3.0 on a Windows Home Server box without any problem. I'm trying to install the Technical Preview of SharePoint Services 2010 on a WHS box with PP3 installed. When I launch the installer and click either "Install software prerequisites" or "Install Windows SharePoint Services", nothing happens. Has anyone else tried this or encountered (and, ideally, worked around) the same problem?
Someone correct me if i'm wrong but I believe SP 2010 requires a 64bit OS and server 2008. I've been assuming that we will have to wait for a vNext WHS to install WSS 4 (AKA sharepoint foundation)
