    Hello,

    I have installed WHS 2011 and setup remote access but it doesn't update my *.homeserver.com domain with my external IP address. Currently its showing 192.168.4.4 (The Internal Static IP of my server). I have waited for over a week but it still shows that. Can anyone help?

    My Router is ClearOS
    WHS Server is Custom Built and worked fine with WHS v1

      Did you use https to access the *.homeserver.com? If you use http://*.homeserver.com, you'll access the router.

        That is not the issue, the issue is that when the WHS Server tries to update the *.homeserver.com domain it uses the internal IP of the server instead of the external IP.

         

        Here is a NSLOOKUP

        Server:		216.216.33.3
Address:	216.216.33.3#53

Non-authoritative answer:
Name:	the******.homeserver.com
Address: 192.168.4.4
