Unanswered Installation of HPC Pack 2008 R2 fails with "NT Authority\System has no sysadmin server role of the SQL server..."

    I am trying to install HPC pack on a Windows Server 2008R2SP1 (German localization) with SQL server 2008R2.

    It seems that the installer does not recognize the German variant of the system account "NT Authority\System". In SQL server, the account is called "NT-Autorität\System" which has all required privileges.

    Is there a workaround for this issue (e.g. creating a local "NT Authority\system" account) or do I have to install the pack on an English Server 2008?

    Hi,

    Windows HPC pack supports English, Chinese, Japanese headnode OS. Pls. install on Egnlish OS.
