I have worked with AJAX and C#.Net on VS 2005 platform.I intend to do certifications pertaining to these technologies. Can i request help on which certification to start with?I mean MCSD or any other ?I like C# and Web Technologies more. Please suggest me a proper exam ? Regards, Shriniket Sarkar.
Hi Shriniket, Since you like working with C# and web technologies I would recommend pursuing the MCTS: Web Development certification. To attain this certification you will need to pass two exams. Exam 70-528 covers ASP.NET 2.0 related technologies. Exam 70-536 covers all of the base framework classes. Once you have passed both of these you can pursue your MCPD (Pro developer) certification in Web technologies. Note that the 70-536 exam can be used towards your VS 2008 certifications as well.
If you are new to certification I think the 70-528 is the less complicated of the two exams.
