Locked Extremely inefficient when moving files within a shared folder

    I'm using Live Mesh to sync large amounts of data (~500GB) between my desktop and laptop. It works well, but when I reorganize files on one of the computers simply by moving them around within the shared folder, the sync processes doesn't understand this and begins transferring ALL of the data again. Is there a solution to this problem? Will it be fixed in a future version?

    Are you referring to Live Mesh beta - www.mesh.com? If so, there will be no future version and service will cease at the end of March 2011. Yes, sync in Live Mesh beta is inefficient. That should not be the case in Windows Live Mesh. If it is, though, discussion of the new Windows Live Mesh (formerly Sync), (as well as the released Live Sync version) belongs here:

    Then I click on you link I come to swedish site with only a few questions, I do not know how to get to the English Windows Live Mesh support forum.
    I have transfered to Windows Live Mesh (from Mesh beta) and have the same problem. If I move a folder, then I cant rename the folder until everthing have been synced, this is a BIG problem!!!
    Please help.

    At the Windows Live Solution Center site, sign in at the upper right of the page.

    Then click on My profile below your sign in name and you will find the option to change your preferred language.
