cannot synchronize with the corporate address book

Hi all ,
I am using office communication server 2007 , in server synchronize is ok..
But client side error " cannot synchronize with the corporate address book. This may be because the proxy setting in your web server does not allow access to the address book.
actually what requirement need to client side install office communicator..... ?
any one pls help me..

Try to open MOC 2007 after you disable your proxy server in IE
Confirm that it works without Proxy
If it works without a proxy then you need to exclude your Address Book URL in your proxy settings

If you have configured a proxy server in Internet Explorer then remove the proxy configuration and try without
Then startup Communicator and check your result

Thx. You are right.. Some changes with Proxy server solved this. I had to use "Automatically detect settings" and remove the default proxy settings..

Yes. If you have a proxy that requires authentication in Internet Explorer, you will have issues with the ABS. Here is the specific error.
"Cannot synchronize corporate address book. This may be because the proxy server settings in your web browser does not allow access to the address book. If the problem persists, contact your system administrator"
