Microsoft Fixit Center Not Working

Hello, I've just downloaded the Fixit Center and when I try to "run" something I get the error code: 0x80040154 for any that I choose.
Initially I installed the Microsoft Fixit Center to help me try to find out what happened to my Volume Mixer, for which I get a message saying "No audio device is installed." I recently updated my drivers, rebooted my system and now I have no sound. Very frustrated!
Any advice for any of the above will be extremely appreciated. :-)

Go to the maunufactures web site for your motherboard (if sound is onboard) download the original drivers for the board and install them. Get rid of "Fix it" it does not work properly yet and mickysoft has not "FIXED IT".
If your sound is from a plug in card such as pci or pcie, go to the manufacturers site and get the original drivers for it.
Always create a restore point before updating drivers, then if there is an issue you can restore.

I get the same error code. My problems are:
1. When I try to download some updates I get "Illegal signature".
2. Missing plug in notices on Youtube, any online games, etc.
3. Help!
