   I ran the tool kit and all test were OK'd.  It is an offic 2010 home and Student.  It was purchased in a 1000% reliable shop in Belgium.  (I'm Belgian but I'm not living in Belgium)

  
  

  If you are attempting to Validate Office using the normal Office validation website, then don't bother - Office 2010 is intended to be self-validating, and the tools on the validation site explain this (badly!)

  Are you actually experiencing any problems that make you think this may not be a valid install?

  Thanks for your reply.

  I've done the validation according to the automated system remark from microsoft.  It said that it couldn't validate any office because the product is maybe to old or maybe because I don't have an official version.  (While it is for sure perfect OK and not on too many PC's).  So, if you refer to this automatic system alert (and testing) as being "the normal office validation website" for which I don't have to bother (?).

  To be sure on what your system is saying I recently tried to run this validation again but (I'm no pc specialist) I cannot find anymore where/how (at least an micorsoft offical test... there is a lot of sites to crack... bit I don't need these things at all).

  I'm not experiencing any problems right now but your system said that within 30 days I would run into problems.  I'm living permanently abroad (of my country of origin) and cannot afford problems with my software...  Here in Ukraine (where I live for a few year) they will not help me at all since my stuff is bought in Belgium.

  I have run the tool kit and posted the result of this diagnosis here under.  I hope this helps.

  Hello joristier,

  The Office online validation at www.microsoft.com/genuine does not currently work with Office 2010, so Noel's advice was to ignore anything it says about Office 2010.

  Office 2010 is considered to be valid until and unless Office 2010 tells you differently.
