Help with vista activation

Hello, i installed windows vista enterprise yesterday and have not been able to validate my product. I tried changing the product key, but it keeps saying that my product key is invalid. I recieve my key from University of Miami, that has a program to allow students have top software. I dont know what to do know...

Hello salomon p,
If you installed Vista yesterday you should be able to validate since you're in your grace period. You can go here: www.microsoft.com/genuine and click Validate Windows.
Can you tell me what error code you get if validation fails? It will be gray and in brackets at the end of the message on the validation failure webpage that you'll be directed to if validation fails.
If it gives you a non-activated message... please also post the error code you get when you try to change your product key. Thanks a lot!
