SyncToy desperately needs a dialog that warns the user if any part of the backup failed.
Right now it simply shows the backup stats that failed in red. As the stats are in a tiny font, this is easily missed if you're in a rush - and that can be a disaster! I once backed up some crucial work, but the destination drive ran out of space half-way through. When it completed I didn't notice the red results, and assumed it was succesful. A few days later the HD with the originals died, leaving me truly screwed.
If something goes wrong, SyncToy should show a warning dialog with details, which must be OK'ed before the app can be closed. Anything less is irresponsible for a backup app.

יום ראשון 11 דצמבר 2011 16:30Yeah thanks, I saw it shortly after posting my msg. I've already moved all my backup jobs over to FreeFileSync, it's a zillion times faster and so far seems to work OK.
