SyncToy - "No more under active development"

  I recently took up a SyncToy bug issue, which I had originally raised on this forum and (after nearly a year) had still not received any official response, with Microsoft UK.

   

  The response I received from 'one of Microsoft's SyncToy specialists', included the following line: "SyncToy is no more under active development and in the foreseeable future it may not be either." (the full response is here)

   

  So now, at least we know, that it looks as if SyncToy 2.1 will be the final version.
