2009. október 1. 20:52The Office Communicator client enables me to set my Current Location as Home, Office or Create a Custom Location.
This is great, and certainly something we are looking for, except...
I cannot see anyone elses location, cannot sort/filter by location, in short I cannot see any way to use this information.
Location shows up in the Communicator UI when I click on the Presence icon, but I cannot filter / group or access it in any other manner
Am I missing something?
We are Running OCS 2007 R2, Exchange 2007, Office Communicator R2

2009. október 1. 21:44ModerátorCurrently the only way it is used is by displaying in the contact card. I agree, there is so much more it could be used to do, but custom development and hopefully changes in the next version might leverage that setting more.

Just wanted to make certain I didn't miss something.
Next version is a way out, so we will stick with Status to provide locaion for the present.
