Locked Certificate Install Error

    Hi Folks

     

    I have began installing 2007 beta in a consolidated environment for testing. When i now click on the configure certificate, create a new certificate i get the following error:

     

    A fatal error has occured. Exit the wizard (error code: 0x800004005)

     

    any one got any ideas?

      I don't know specifically what your issue is, but I can tell you that 0x8004005 is an access denied error.  Do you have any unique permissions in place that might cause this?  I would try using filemon to see if you can catch a corresponding error message with the file system.

        Try restarting the Certificate Services on your DC. This cured the problem in the Ignite training.
