2012. április 27. 17:47I've heard that you can synchronize settings, entities, workflows, etc from a CRM 2011 Test environment to a Prod environement...Has anybody else done this where the synchronization is continuous (incase another developer customizes something I don't know about) instead of a one-time on-demand sync? I think this would be extremely helpfu for a lot of companies/customers.

Although I can see how a continuous sync would be troublesome also so maybe just a sync that would occur overnight (while the system isn't in use)?

Anything that can be updated using the SDK methods could, theoretically, be replicated between environments but it's generally a very bad idea to automatically push everything from test into production continuously -- if you were that crazy you would just do your development in your production environment :)
