Chrome State and Chrome Type in the Modify Shared Web Part of WSS 2007

What is the meaning of "Chrome" in the expressions "Chrome State" and "Chrome Type" in the "Modify Shared Web Part" panel of WSS 2007 ?

Hi,
Chrome refers to the frame around a specific web part, for instance, the title bar, the border, both or none. If you change the chrome to none, you will notice that the web part does not have a title displaying any more, nor will it show a border.
