Is it possible to represent BCWS in hours?

Our PMO wants to have two views for EV. One is pretty standard. It just shows all the built-in EV fields, (BCWP, BCWS, SV, etc...). Everything represented in dollars. However, they want a second view with those values represented in hours. It's an odd request, and I can't really find any examples of others doing this, so I suspect it's not very common.

Hi Kevin,
If you assume the resource standard rate is $1, EV values are same for hours and cost.
Example:
BCWP = % complete * (Planned Hours till status date * Rate)
If standard rate for resource is $1, so BCWP as below:
BCWP = % complete * (Planned Hours till status date * 1)
Thanks
Chak

You could do it in Excel....export timephased Baseline Work & Actual Workto Excel into a table. Then calculate Cumulative Work and Cumulative ActualWork within Excel.BCWS => Cumulative Baseline WorkBCWP => % Work Complete X Baseline WorkACWP => Cumulative Actual Work....or something like that.- Andrew Lavinsky- Válasznak javasolta: Marc Soester [MVP]MVP, Moderator 2010. augusztus 28. 1:37
