        Yes - This is a MUST-HAVE feature; this is a serious flaw in the existing Calendar.

          I would just like to reiterate how ridiculous it is that we do not have this feature yet.  Microsoft technology is giving Google Calendar users the ability to sync with their calendars over the air and yet Microsoft refuses to give us the same feature.  I am trying to support Windows Mobile and suck it up during these times when every other company is miles ahead, but this isn't just a nice feature, it's critical to how I use my phone.  I'm sorry, but this is a deal breaker for me and I'm sure it is for many others as well.  Fix it now, not whenever Wave 4 or WM6.5 comes out....now.

            i also think the windows live calendar should sync with the calendar on the cellphone (not even necessarily restricted to windows mobile phones). 

            think about it, one one hand, one might think it would result in some people no longer using outlook at home.  on the other hand, more people would use windows live.

              That would be GREAT!
              I really hope that comes as part of WM6.5 or a patch soon.


              I'd like to see my phone sync with the server just like my pc sync with the server!
              It is annoying to have to sync the phone via my pc.


              I create all my contacts as windows live contacts since I had a winMo (winmo 6.0).

              Love that feature.

              When I got my flashed, or bought a new phone, all the contacts come back in a click of a button!

                My understanding is that the Windows Mobile calendar is the Outlook calendar which is why all the syncing goes through Outlook.  I have also noticed that it separates my Outlook contacts from my Windows Live contacts.  There's a great solution for this that would be really helpful to power users.  Allow a person to choose which calendar and contacts sync with the phone or provide two calendars and contact lists.  This way I could just have my personal calendar and contacts on my phone (the Windows Live calendar and contacts) or I could even switch between personal and business on the fly.  You throw over the air syncing into the mix and you've got one powerful feature for business users, especially those with lots of business contacts that they may want in their phone, but don't want to clog up their contact list all the time.  This would also be nice for people who use Windows Live Mail instead of Outlook, which is a really great program.
