    One thing I'd like to see is Windows Live Writer (WLW) done up as a portable app. I could then put the program on a USB stick and use it on any computer I'm in front of. Blogging on the road with no access to a computer I own or have install rights on would become a lot easier.

    With formal application development people won't have to come up with kludges to put WLW on a stick. Something to consider...

              Ha! I'd love to see WLW as an iPhone app ... but since this is Microsoft ... I gather that will never happen! :) I can dream can't I?

                Microsoft do make products for Apple products, think Live Mesh, Messenger, Office, so who's to say they wouldn't create one for the iPhone. That's not to say they will of course.... 8-)
