  • Because I did a search on "*****-*****-GJY49-VJBQ7-HYRR2" and found several links which identify it as Acer.  Also, as I noted, the SLIC entry at the end of your report is Acer,

    SLIC ACRSYS ACRPRDCT

But it does not matter.  The point is that you are using an OEM SLP license on a retail motherboard.  That is illegal.  It would be improper licensing to use ANY OEM copy on your custom computer.  OEM licenses are only valid when installed by a company that sells computers to customers.  They are not valid when installed by consumers on their own computers.  All the OEM licenses state that clearly.  You can read the present license on your own computer.

It doesn't matter whether this copy of Windows was pirated from an Acer, an HP, a Dell, or any other computer brand.  It is illegal and you will not remove the non-genuine status until you replace it.

  • The resolution for the tampered file is (compliments of Darin Smith):

    a) using the SFC /SCANNOW command,
    b) doing a System Restore to a point before the issue occured,
    c) replacing the file by copying the same file from another Windows 7 install (be sure the other Windows has the same installed updates as the troubled windows)
    d) reinstalling windows altogeather.

What is the make and model of your computer, Gateway or Acer?  Have you changed the motherboard?

I have self made PC with Asus M4N78 SE motherboard. I have not changed the MoBo

I've already done SFC /SCANNOW command but it did not find any conflicts.

I have tried to copy files from another PC running same version of Window, didn't help.

When I click Activate Windows, nothing happens.

So I have to reinstall Windows?

  • Then your copy of Windows is illegal.  You are using an OEM SLP copy

    Windows License Type: OEM SLP

which is only valid when installed on a computer by the manufacturer at the factory.  OEM SLP copies require codes in the SLIC table in the BIOS on the manufacturer's motherboard.  Your system appears to have a hacker's file to simulate these codes from an Acer computer,

    SLIC ACRSYS ACRPRDCT

Obviously an Asus M4N78 SE motherboard does not contain Acer codes.

OEM SLP copies cannot be transferred, purchased seperately, or used to upgrade a computer.  A custom computer requires a retail full license copy of Windows.  This copy of Windows is pirated and cannot self-activate on your mobo.  You need to purchase a retail copy and reinstall.

  • Your MGA Reort indicates you used a System Locked Pre-installation OEM Windows 7 disc to install your copy of Windows 7 Ultimate.  This disc cannot be used for your self-built PC.  You will need to purchase a conventional "Full Version" Windows 7 and perform a "clean install".

  • How do you know what is Acer Product Key and what is not. Because I can not recognize "Acer" in that log.

  • I cleaned up registry with Advanced Systemcare 5 beta and after restart all this stupid just happened, I even can't restore bakcups which were taken by that program.

PC has worked perfectly for a year with no problems until now.

Advanced SystemCare (any version) is probably netter described as "How many ways can I find to screw your system"
