I'm rolling out a OCS Standard Server with maximum 1000 users for only IM. I have not purchased the Extended CAL, so I can only enable the IM and not Live Meeting.
With this in mind, I'm wanting to know how large my Database/Log disk should be? The planning guide says 2x36GB disks for each drive.
I'm thinking thats overkill, as the guide also lists it as upto 5000 users and with Web conferencing. I was thinking 15gb log, 35 gb database...
Any ideas? I could likley go 5gb log, 10-15gb DB...
The size you mentioned would be perfect if you are not going to go for Archiving !!!
There are seperate parameters for archiving disk requirements.
