    UCCP Chat Session issue

     

    We developed a bot application that sends out messages to a predefined set of users. The application works perfectly when running on an OCS server that has a single server pool.

     

    However when the application is deployed on an OCS server that has multiple pools than application is able to successfully login, change presence states but unable to send out messages to users that are logged on to other pools.

     

    What could be the cause of this issue as users from different pools are able to communicate with each other using Office Communicator client.

      What security context does the application run under?  I'm curious if it's an issue of permissions when running on one machine or pool versus another.  Have you been able to collect packet captures?

        Got it resolved...needed to use TLS instead of TCP
