    I am really tired of being told that i need to purchase a new key and then having to phone in to your call centers to activate a software that i have paid for and am now being told that because i reinstall every 4-6 months that i have exceeded the number of times i can activate it?

    surely there has to be a way to fix this problem or is it genuinely time to start looking at mac's or linux?

    any direction i can be given on how to clear up this problem will be greatly appreciated.

    The Microsoft Product Activation (MPA) information can be found here: http://www.microsoft.com/resources/howtotell/en/mpa.mspx

    I know this isn't something you want to hear, but in your case (reinstall every 4-6 mo. - assuming it is to clean up the machine, correct?) you will have to phone activate. We do this for security reasons (listed in the MPA informational listed above).
