I'm trying to see how many times an author's work has been cited by year.
For example, if professor X wrote 10 papers and the first 5 were very highly cited, but the last 5 were not, then his cite count graph would probably have a hill followed by a decline.
Google Scholar shows this type of cite count, but you can't really get accurate numbers from their tiny graph. Microsoft Academic allows you to hover over the graph to get the data points, but it appears to be cumulative because each faculty member I've
looked at has a smooth, upward sloping graph. I haven't found one author with any dips in their graph. Is this a feature that can be added to MS Academic? Is it already there and I'm just missing it?
