unsolicited emails being sent

07 Desember 2009 18:38Everyone in my address book is receiving emails touting a site selling goods. I did not send these messages and they are going out at least 1 a week. I have One-Care protection. Have made sure that there is no signature line or vacation notice in my set-up. How can I prevent these messages going out. I have now deleted all of my address book entries.

If you are using Windows Live OneCare and you have been infected, but OneCare did not detect or cannot remove the malware, please contact support to report this and for help with removal.

However, I suspect that your PC may not be infected, but your email address has either been harvested by a spammer or your email account (assuming it is web based, such as Hotmail) may have been compromised.
