Liveonecare won't scan

  My Liveoncare status is green, which is good. But when I do a simple 10 minute quick scan, it won't finish it. It always shuts down before it does. Then it goes into the red. So I do net stop winss then net start winss. Then it goes green again. But then I try to scan, and the same thing happens. So this time I download the antimalware thingy. It does its thing and I'm good and green again. But when I scan, it again fails.
