Setting problem

24 September 2009 16:04I am running Windows live Care 2007. I have a Dell PC laptop.
I cannot change my tune up settings. I want to have my unnecessary files deleted. I have checked the box to indicate this chcange, but the "apply" box does not light up. Nothing changes when I just click on the okay. How do I resolve this?

24 September 2009 16:38Moderator I suggest unionstalling one care, running the install cleanup tool - http://social.microsoft.com/Forums/en-US/onecareinstallandactivate/thread/399071e2-49dc-4767-932d-d261e3965943 then reinstalling One Care. If reinstalling One Care does not resolve the issue please contact support. 24 September 2009 18:44Moderator When you note that clicking okay doesn't change anything, do you mean that after clicking okay and returning to the dialog via Change Settings/Tune-up tab the setting remains unchecked?
Before doing the reinstall that Jim suggests, try using the database reset tool:
