    Hi Ram,

    Yes, barstyles are view specific.

But I don't know of any way to copy basrstyles from one view to another. You can copy a view though and modify the new view. Barstyles are also copied when you copy a view.

    I hope this helps,
    Hans

    Hi Ram

A trick that I used prior to 2010 was using the  View Tables menu  :-

Set up tables for each of your views, with different coumns, eg Tracking, cost etc

Then set the barstyles that you want

save the view by view more views, copy as your new name

then change your table by View Table More tables choose the table

the Barstyle shoudl stay the same

then view more views, copy and you then have the common bar styles with a different set of table columns

Not usre if you van do this in Proejct 2010, it seems that Microsoft have forgotten the long time users agian and forcing us to learn a whol new interface , the ribbon !! which takes up valuable screen space compared to a simple menu line

    good luck

    hope this helps
